 CaliSolar designs and manufactures high-performance solar cells which convert sunlight into clean energy using unique technology and lower cost silicon feedstock. Since our founding in 2006, we have been developing breakthrough manufacturing techniques that deliver high performance solar cells at a much lower cost, which will ultimately bring downthe price of solar for consumers. Calisolar has been selected for NREL’s Solar America Initiative PV Incubator program.  After multiple years of research and development, we began ramping manufacturing operations in October 2009 to an initial capacity of 60MW, producing commercial cells with the quality and performance levels required to meet strenuous industry standards. Calisolar’s headquarters, product development and manufacturing operations are in Sunnyvale, California and R&D facilities are in Berlin, Germany. |
